Default Megan vs Tein

Hello all!

As I patiently await spring, I realize its time to slam the maxima. Of course the budget it tight. At first I wanted the Tein SS, but little pricey. So I have narrowed my selection down to either the Tein Basic or Megan Racing coilovers. I am not 100% sure but I beleive the Megan's come with Pillow mounts...? Both are around the same price... of less than $1k.

Has anyone had any experience with the Megan Coilovers? Any suggestions which set up to choose? or any different suggestions of a set up under $1k?

Thank you for your time!
Charly

I have the Tein SS and am very pleased. The adjustable damper is the way to go in my opinion. I've switched it up a couple times to find the most comfortable ride.
My advice is save up til you can get the SS.

Honestly, if your trying not to spend a ton, the Tein basics are phenomenal. They don't have the Carr adjustments, but best bang for the buck. I ran them on mine, and while the SS obviously have more adjustments, the basics are not a bad way to go

Thanks for the advice .... but I'm thinking going with the SS only because I'm planning on running 20's ... so would still like a comfortable ride..

i found these....

Any suggestions on where to buy the set?

Thanks again!

EBay has the best prices, just make sure you buy from a reputable seller and get authentic Tein.
