Default KYB-GR2 Struts And Shocks

I was wondering if anybody knows where i can get a good deal on some struts. I will be having all struts an shocks done soon.. Just hoping someone knows where i can get them for a good price. I will also be lowering at the same time but i am confused about which way to go. It seems there is a 50/50 split on here between progress an tein springs. This is my dd so im trying to find which combination would be best....

I dont know how much shipping is because they are like 10 minutes from my house. They're a good company to deal with.

I bought Monroe OEM. $74 per strut $30 per shock.

Lesson learned: if there is any chance you need to buy the bushing for the shock, buy the bolt that goes with it. You can see the pic in this thread on the 2nd page.

Cut the boot? I don't remember seeing a boot on mine.

Are you talking about the brown ring on there?

From their site:

Additional Features:
• Chrome Vanadium SAE9254V Construction
• Progressive Spring Rate Design
• Includes Silencer Rubber on certain applications
• Green Powder Coat Finish

I think he's talking about the bumpstop. Those usually get trimmed because if not your car will constantly hit the bumpstops

If you are at 148K miles on your OEM shocks/struts, then you will DEFINITELY see/feel an improvement in replacing them. Trust me, they are worn...

You have to trim the bump stop and then re-use it. I didn't take pics when I did mine...there were instructions with my Progress Springs.

To the OP, I got mine from Amazon also, from JustSuspension.com...they were about $175 shipped for all four.

Hey brother, the "search" button is your friend...the spring issue has been beaten to death...there are all kinds of threads on it.

I am very happy with the results of mine. I only reused the top hats in the struts. Be careful if you have rust on the rear shock top bolts. If one breaks they aren't easy to replace...
