Default How Can I Acheive Poke On My Daily Driver?

I'm a big fan of flushed / hellaflush / stanced cars, so it breaks my heart to see such little of the above across 6thgens. I've heard its somewhat difficult to achieve, but I don't know exactly why.

Where I live (in Canada), the law's more lenient with wheels/tires exceeding the fender and so ideally, I'd like the fender above the tread of the tire rather than flush with the wheel.

I haven't made any ride height adjustments, and I'm sitting on four 20x8.5 35+ wheels with 245/35/20 tires.

I'm not looking to be 'dumped', 'hellaflushed' or cambered - as my Maxima is my daily driver. I'm aware of tire wear I just want the particular stance with roughly [/B]an inch of poke[/B]. Here's an example of how much poke. Click the image to open in full size.

My concern is that the rear wheels will rub too much. If this is so, how can I increase fender clearance / reduce rubbing for daily driving capabilities? Is it possible to increase rear ride height / shave fenders?

My other inquiry is whether spacers alone will be enough to achieve an agressive poke or will I need to stretch tires / buy wider wheels as well?

Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance

Roxberry's Maxima is a perfect example of how much poke.

The first post is dstruc's car not roxberry. I believe, I may be wrong thou, I have the most aggressive setup on a 6thgen.

From experience I have to say the 6thgen doesn't like being slammed or a poke setup. My fronts would hit the top of my fenders liners. The rears would rub with the bracket holding the rears bumper. Get ready to change your driving habits if you do plan on going slammed and poking.

I don't plan on slamming (let alone lowering) my car right away, just to ensure as much clearance as I can achieve.

I was wondering if your rear was lowered at all?

If you want it to look right your gonna have to lower the car. Poke with stock height Imo wouldn't look good. I have airbags so I raise when I'm driving it.
