Default Front sub frame

Shop told me front subframe is rusted out, they are searching for a replacement. Any advice on finding one through a known source on here? Aftermarket or dealer part. I just have a feeling the knowledge folks on here will be a lot more help than this shop.

Default Re: Front sub frame

junk yard is your best bet. you have pictures of your subframe that is rusted out? It is was really bad, you would know. The subframe is mounted to the car by 4 bolts and the back two bolts have an extra brace each. The motor is then mounted to the subframe in the front and back, the transmission has a mount on the drivers side. The front suspension is mounted to the subframe. If it is rusted out badly, it isn't good.
