Default Endlinks, Are They Really Needed?

just as it states. i have the kyb gr2's in the garage , the progress rear sway bar , slotted drill rotors , progress springs. how much of a difference is made with the endlinks? i know some of you have 20's , 19's and 18's but i ride 22's and i cant and dont get on the gas to try and take a turn at 50mph so is this a upgrade that will be a benefit or a waste of money?

it amazes me that the stillen bars do this and that stillen has never done anything to correct the problem, usually their stuff fits perfect

Reason why racingline endlinks is not good is because it has like 3 parts that make up the endlink. These can easily become lose if not tightened well. I doubt you have to worry about this with OEM or Moog. Racingline is not one piece as the OEM or Moog. See side-by-side pic of OEM vs Moog vs Racingline.

Moog look like the bettter option there. Racingline are better suited if you need to adjust the length for your application. Otherwise you are probably better suited with Moog.

Buy them from rockauto.com or like me, buy them from your local advance auto parts store or their website. Well, that is if you have advance auto parts store in your local area.

A rear sway bar upgrade along with good end links is a far better improvement, even to stock suspension over a front strut bar.

Not tightening something has everything to due with user error and not manufacturing design......

Adjustable and One pieceare not even comparable..... as a solid piece is not possible to adjust. The RL endlinks were never meant to be an oem replacement (which the moog is). The RL endlinks react faster to driver input and allow those that are lower than 1" to adjust and compensate for preload on the suspension. If you are slammed on coilovers you will have excessive preload on the rear sway bar. If you track your car, you'll want to be able to corner balance the car. Endlinks and coilovers all account for these types of adjustments

Bottom line
-Mom and pop driving to work or the baller with 4 15" subs cruising the strip do not need RL endlinks

- Those that track the car or simply want the most performance out of the car will want RL or custom adjustable endlinks

I figured there was more to it than just thicker end links. Honestly if that's all it was, I bet you would have just done that in the first place.

I got these in front and the FTSB at the same time, big jump in performance.
