Default Endlinks Comparism: OEM vs Moog vs Racingline

Which would you buy? Or what do you have? How is it holding up compared to the others? Did you upgrade the endlinks alongside with a new progress rear sway bar? Does upgrading the endlinks along with the progress bar make more of a difference, than if it had oem endliinks with a new progress bar?

Well, I have had my racingline endlinks for over 2 months now and never installed. Now that I just bought my progress rear sway bar and was about to install, I suddenly changed my mind. I decided instead to buy moog and that is what I will put on my car, instead of the racingline endlinks. So, if anybody needs my brand new racingline endlinks, make me an offer.

Well, I had to go buy all 3 different rear endlinks for our car to take pics and show side-by-side to help others decide what they wish to buy for themselves.

Here are pics... See that the racingline can come apart in like 3 different pieces. I think that is a disadvantage. But up to each person to decide for themselves what they would like.

Side-by-side, OEM is the smallest in thickness. Moog seems the most solid and heaviest. Racingling is hollow in the middle and a lot of parts come apart, reason why some people lose theirs, lol or reason why it comes apart for some people on here.

Well, if you need mine, PM me an offer. I bought it at $115 shipped.

Share your thoughts about the different brands.

What is it that endlinks do exactly? Are they there for further stiffness or to add the ability to adjust your roll bar?

I have some front end Moog endlinks that have been sitting for a few months. I've read in other posts that they are the best of the three options you have listed here. My problem is I couldn't bust the OEMS loose from the bottom connection with my hand sockets / wrenches. I think I'm going to borrow a power socket and try again. Any tips??

I have moog with my Progress sway bar and they are holding up great. I have had Moog links in my last car and they lasted me over 4 years. That is why I got them again. I have Racingline in front.

Vibration is the major factor ANY links will come apart,

if you use lock tight you will be fine , I can say 98% of you guys dont use lock tight

and thats why you guys are losing them.

LOL, I tried taking my endlinks off with hand tools too. What a waste of my time. I made a mess trying to take them off with no power tool. What a failure!!! Seems you must have a power tool to take them off.

Default Re: Endlinks Comparism: OEM vs Moog vs Racingline

So, I tried to install my progress rear bar at home in my driveway. What a failure it was!!!! The nuts were too tight and I just ended up ruining the first nut I worked on. So, that was it for me!!!

So, I packed everything and took it to a local shop to pay to get this done. Sucks, but it cost me $40 for them to install it for me. I supervised every single bolt removal and guided the guy through out the process. He told me he has done things like this before, but I said not on a Nissan MAxima and this is my car and I don't want to mess with this suspension stuff, so we will do it together!!!

My car was lifted, as you can see in the pics. And I liked it like that. He never took off the tires and I was impressed, but my presence there was very useful as he almost made a couple of mistakes. But overall, he did an awesome job and I was pleased with how the final product looked and felt.

I truly do not know how some of you could do this without these power tools he used. As I insisted he tighetned those nuts very well. Which he did.

Installation complete and car lowered I got in and drove off. Driving off, the car felt a little more study and more confident of itself. Well, I drove in heavy traffic on my 15mins trip back home so I did not get to test any performance improvement with the progress bar. The only one I felt was psychological, lol.

Maybe I will try this out tomorrow thursday. Or better yet, I am taking a 360 miles trip to New Orleans on friday and returning on sunday. That would provide me enough time to test the progress bar. For it is like a 6 hour trip each way. Enough distance for me to hit my 130mph, as usual, change lanes doing 100mph - 130mph and see how well things are.

I will keep you guys updated on long term road performance.

I bet you half of dealerships and mechanic shops dont use the following

Anti-seize

Lock tight

Grease

on any bolts they put back in , its not something people do these days.

we use them on customer cars only because you never know when these cars come back , so why make it harder for the next time around for our selfs.

putting anti-seize on calipers bolts , lug nuts or bolts that goes into the motor is a good habit.

Lock tight any bolts that vibration will cause it to cause it knock loose
