Default Eibach Springs Look Stock Height

I installed my eibachs about 4-5 weeks ago and still looks like stock height for some odd reason, im using eibachs in the front with monroe sensa tracs and stock strut bushings, and in the back i have oem springs, i really dont know it if the car is settling right, i park in my driveway which is just straight road no bumps or nothing...

It looks pretty good to me but it looks like it didn't get bedded or broken in yet. Also, the size of the rims is probably playing a role in the overall look of the drop itself IMO. Definitely not an expert in this field but that's just my 2 cents.

Mine looked the same way the entire time I had them. That was the only reason I sold them and went with progress instead. The ride was great just not uniform. One word of advice, don't miss match springs, don't have dropped springs in front and stock rear, that's an accident waiting to happen due to different springs rates between dropped and factory. Spring will settle but not much or any noticeable amounts. People act like they will drop another inch or two, not going to happen. Another thing, that doesn't look like stock at all. A lot lower but I understand why you say that, I did too because I was disappointed.

I can't speak for the 6th gen, but years ago, I put eibach springs on my Civic. The ride height looked higher than it previously did when it was on stock springs. I've vowed that I'd only get coilovers from then on.

Since you're not satisfied with this, best bet is to get coilovers.

DViious,

Do you have any "before" pics to compare it too? I put Progress on my 07, and I could definitely tell the difference before and after.

Also, as far as coilovers go, if you get a lot of snow, you may want to keep that in mind. I've heard coilovers don't play well with road salt.

Sorry guys. Well in my experience the back doesn't drag as much under acceleration with lowering springs. Without them its a little more noticeable. And I have a 12" sub in a box, amp and a full size spare if that helps you.

I guess you do remember me lol. I had my rear Eibachs installed for 2 weeks, then took them out and put on stock. I had/have a heavy box, so dropping the back + passengers = bottoming out, but no rubbing issues.

Right now i'm lowered on Tein Basic coilovers, and I've never had a better set up. After using springs and coilovers, my opinion would be to save up and get a set of coilovers... used or new. If budget doesn't allow it, then drop the front only and drive on it for a while. If you like it, then so be it.

Rani,

Keep in mind that he's in NY, so he probably drives in the snow. I've heard (don't have personal experience) that coilovers don't play nice with road salt.
