Default Better Rotors

Ok I have my 05 nissan maxima she just got painted and shes sitting pretty and now I'm making a list of things I Would like to get done to it while I Can and while i have the funds to do so. I want to get better calibers because mine get warped very easily and I'm looking around on ebay and autozone but cannot seem to find me a nice deal in which I would be comfortable buying rotors. I'm just trying to stop the warping of my rotors and its mainly the front rotors so does anyone have a proposal on anything I Can do to make it easier, I mean I know I speed but they warp so easily...

Im saving right now to make the Alien rotor upgrade my next purchase. I have the same problem you have plus the rusted factory ones look horrible behind black wheels.

Default Re: Better Rotors

I know the pain of warping the front rotors so easily. I warped the stock rotors the first time on my 07 at 12,000 miles. Then they warped again at 20,000, 32,000 and 38,000. I swapped the stock rotor's and pads out. Replaced the rotors with EBC Sport Brake Rotors (Dimpled & Slotted). The pads with, EBC Redstuff Ceramic 3000 Series Brake Pads. I am at 53,000 miles now and still not warped. They stop the car much better than stock. Only down side is that they grab best when they are heated up a little bit. It only takes a few seconds and if your are on ice or snow and not expecting it then it will catch you off guard the first few times you hit the brakes.

I've had pretty good luck with Rotopros. New Brakes and Rotor Time Again.

Mine had warped on my 05 as well.

Whatever you do, DO NOT order anything from www.brakeperformance.com I order a setup for my whole car when I first got her because they were a good deal. I have already had my front rotors turned, swapped out, swapped out, and now I need them turned again. They keep warping! I even got away from ceramic pads as I thought that was the issue... but they are still warping
