Default 05 Altima Tien Springs On 6th Gen

The Tien springs for the 05 (02+) offer a 1.9 fr and 1.4 rear drop.(V6) I've seen others put Altima springs (megan 2" drop) on the maxima. Any input is appreciated. That's about the perfect drop I think.

Check out Road Magnet's new springs for the 6th Gen (https://www.roadmagnet.com/products-...n-maxima-04-08). I've been on them for a few months, and they're phenomenal. Stiff springs with a great drop.

The Megan Altima springs may provide a great drop, but I've heard that they bounce quite a bit. At that rate, you may as well just cut your stock springs...

Can you post a pic of the front drop height with these springs installed?

Altima 02-06 suspension will fit the 04-08 Max.

The lesser drop, in the rear, was intentional. Once you put some weight in the trunk (ie subs/enclosures), it will drop slightly more, depending on the weight, but with a rate of 360 lb/in your springs will not bottom out or overly compress.

I just installed progress Springs lol and am quite pleased. I am not installing the rear springs because my sub setup is heavy as fudge, it already provides a drop so I will ride like that

Ok, not to beat a dead horse but....

Spring rates for Tein S

Altima 02+ Front 210 lbs Rear 400 lbs

NISSAN ALTIMA

Maxima 04+ Front 200 lbs Rear 300 lbs

NISSAN MAXIMA

The Altima springs have a higher rate even though the Maxima is heavier. Theoretically the Altima Tein springs would give slightly better handling with a bit more drop. jus-sayin
