Actually a Cattman B Pipe in combination will give you a much better deeper sound. A little louder. I personally know because I started out with the Cattman B-Pipe and Y-Pipe along with my magnaflow muffler. The sound was much better.

As far as performance... there really no gains coming from the B-Pipe itself. But it should sound pretty good on a 6.5gen.

6thgens only have Y-Pipe and B-Pipe. The type of pipes varies on the style of the car/make/model hence you will see other cars using X-Pipes etc...

+1.

By itself you wont see any gains, maybe no diff. in sound either. Partnered with a Y-Pipe, mufflers, headers, ect. is when you will see gains.

Think of it like this... Would you want to increase airflow in your aftermarket Y-Pipe, Mufflers, Headers and keep your B pipe the same? An aftermarket B pipe should be a little wider than your stock.. .5 inch wider? to allow more air.
