I don't have Vibrant mufflers, but everything I've ever heard about them says that they are good stuff.

Taking out the res on a Max would def make it loud with a drone! If you don't mind a drone go ahead with the deleted res!

vibrant muffler would def sound good as i personally have them. but if you do a res. delte make sure you can handle the massive drone that is sure to happen. even with a small res right now it still quite "drony" but not as much as when i had those massive single cannons from the ebay catback

Nope but they don't sound all that good either unless you have some good amount of exhaust work done, like CAI, headers, y-pipe and cat back. I've heard them on stock exhaust and I was not impressed. I'm sure others will say different but that's just my opinion.

it sounds really good if you just get the ebay catback and chop off the mufflers and replace it with these. these mufflers provide a deeper tone compared to the ebay mufflers.

loudness really depends on the person, personally with the smaller resonator i don't think they are loud...sounds really good actually.
