Default Should I?

I have a set of NGK Iridium IX plugs 1 step colder. Right now as my car sits I have a Nismo catback, Nismo CAI, VIAS plate, grounding kit, Apexi AFC Neo, NWP spacers, and I am in the process of putting headers on. Can I put these on now with plans for nitrous in the next 2-3mos or should I wait and tear everything apart again? Will I have any issues if they are put on now?

Default Re: Should I?

So, just got off the phone with NGK tech support and, they DO NOT recommend installing these without forced induction as it may create driveability issues, he says I could try it; however; with a nitrous setup you are not running it all the time so why then is it ok the other 90% of the time. NGK says many people who have daily drivers swap plugs at the track. PITA IMO. Anybody with colder plug wanna share their experience?

Default Re: Should I?

I've been running NGK 1-step colder plugs since 2007. I daily drove it for about 2 years and never had any issues. Mind you even though I have the Nitrous hooked up, I don't use it often. So like on N/A, it never gave me problems.

I made a full thread on this here: NGK Spark Plugs
