Default Question For You Magnaflow Owners

So I just had some Magnaflow 14805's installed yesterday, and so far I absolutely love them, which didn't surprise me based on the reviews on here. They are nice and deep with a little drone around 2k rpm, I have an 07 with CVT. My question is will the tone change on these when they break in a little bit, will the sound change. If so, how?

Nope. That's the sound you'll keep. Eventually you won't hear it anymore since you'll be use to it but it stays pretty constant.

Yea you'll get the drone forever unless you get a resonator installed.. I went with the magnaflow 22" resonator. Helped that annoying drone!

Do you remember the Magnaflow resonator part # you installed? I was thinking of having a 22" welded in. I have the Cattman y-pipe and b-pipe, so have to figure out where I would have it welded in. I absolutely LOVE the sound from the Magnaflows, but it can be a little loud at times. But I'm worried that putting in a resonator will eliminate or change the sound that I really like from the Magnaflows, am I crazy?

Magnaflow flow 10436 resonator. Got it shipped for less than $70. It gets welded in right after the resonator that comes on the b pipe. No where else for it to go. Good luck.

Sorry to reopen this old thread, but I was going to have my second resonator welded in next week, but spoke to Brian at Cattman who recommended that I look into removing the resonator on the Cattman b-pipe, and installing a beefier aftermarket resonator. Has anyone tried this, or any recommendations regarding this? I'd probably prefer this so I don't have to hack up the rear section of the exhaust.
