Default Painting Nismo Intake

Hey guys thinking about painting my Nismo CAI was just wondering do I have to sand and prime or can I just clean and paint? Yea I kno it's kind of a noob question so u can kiss my azz lol

I believe you will have to give it a real good sanding and hit it with primer like you stated. The paint wont stick to the slick surface that the intake currently has.
