Default OBX Mufflers? Or eBay Catback Exhaust?

so my boy just bought a pair of OBX muffler (WELDED ONTO the OEM STOCK PIPING) for his 2001 Accord V6, I didn't get a chance to ride along with him but when he pulled off it sounded very nice however it did get alittle louder when he open V-Tec, so now I'm thinking of getting a pair for my Maxima, but I really wanted a bolt on exhaust, I was considering a ebay catback exhaust system but didn't know which one to get.

I search the site, i seen pros & cons about the ebay exhaust especially when compared to a greddy, nismo, apexi, vibrant, etc......

I really want it more for looks especially since i just did the 6.5 rear bumper, I do not have any plans on doing any mods to the max like for racing

so my question is what do you think I'm better off doing, $200 for a ebay catback exhaust system, or $300 for a pair obx muffler welded on to the stock piping?

I know it's $200 average from ebay plus install and my mechanic said if it's bolt on he will do it for $100.

My boy had Magnaflow muffler on his car, it sounded nice but I don't want it to be to loud, I would love to get something close to a g35/fx but I read in the forum it's impossible if I remembered correctly. Plus I don't want anything loud because I park my car in the driveway and the landlord told me I can continue parking there as long as my car don't have a loud exhaust.

For those who recommended the ebay exhaust, do you recommend a certain seller? I have read that slight modification might be need in done of there description

Save yourself $100 and do it yourself. It's bolt on, very easy install.

What other mods do you have on your car? If you want quiet when you backing out or pulling away but volume when you punch it go with a Fujia CAI.
