Hey everyone!! I installed an injen cai and a topspeed pro 1 catback exhaust and when I accelerate there's a high pitch squeal.. I was wondering what could be causing this, it wasn't happening before the install... Thanks in advance!

It's definitely coming from the engine bay.. thought maybe the connectors on the cai were lose but.nope!!

+1 on the intake, did you check to ensure that it's secure with no air leaks?

just make sure all of the clamps are tightened securely.

maybe a video of the squeak would help us out.

So I made a video but too much wind to hear the squeal... I'll see what I can do to make a better one!!

grab yourself a can of break cleaner ,

start the engine and let it idle ,

use the straw and spray some dabs around the intake lines/ intake manifold

if you have a leak the break cleaner will find it , it will idle up (RPM) changes

pay attention to where your spraying cause thats how you find leaks.

it most likely (99%) the CAI. i don't personally have a CAI but my friend does on his G and it makes a nice squeal (in your case) when he accelerates high
