Default Exhaust Pipe Noise!

After installing the greddy catback i notice a metal on metal noise coming from under the car between the front seat and back seat, im almost sure is the bracket that is in the middle of the car.

Click the image to open in full size.

now does anyone else had this problem?
I dont want to remove that bracket, them pipes are sitting low. maybe i could cover this bracket with something.
Any ideas?

Ok so I've ran into a slight problem. I removed the bracket completely yesterday and I'm still getting the noise. I will get my car put in one of our bays Monday morning and give the whole exhaust a once over and see what I can figure out.

I'm getting what sounds like a kinda squeaking sound everytime I hit any size bump. Front tires go over and nothing is heard and as soon as the rear go I hear the squeak every time. It's so annoying. I can not figure it out. And it's not suspension related either because I have heard the sound from my exhaust when the car was in park. I have the eBay cat back. This just started a couple weeks back and seems to be getting progressively worse. Also another weird part is that it only seems to do it when the exhaust like heats up. Won't make the sound within the first few minutes of driving no matter how large the bump. I don't get it and don't feel like getting ripped off at a shop to figure it out if it is something small and stupid. Any help would be great. Please give me something it's driving me nuts!!

Check the rubber mounts that are holding the mufflers up. They may be worn out.

It's where the exhaust splits into a y at the rear. The metal hanger that's welded to the pipe rubs on the bracket that is attached to the car. It took me a long time to find it but me and my exhaust guy found it.

Sometimes I get the same squeak from the RSB. Has to be taken out and lubricated once in a while.

Did that fix your problem? I'm gonna check there on mine as well.

Im sorry but I have to jump in because I think its hilarious when someone has a rubbing issue somewhere, instead of resolving the issue by fixing it, people advise on removing things. That is just ghetto and halfassing it and people should not take advice from people like that.

The reason the OP is rubbing that bar is because when he tightened the y-pipe to the cat-back, he didn't push them up. He just tightened them where ever they sat at. Would it be fine driving around without that bar? sure but it's still silly to tell people to remove stuff to fix a problem instead of telling them how to really fix the problem or why that issue occurred to begin with. Just saying. You know who you are and you will show yourselves soon enough...
