EGR Fix??
I had to start a new thread because I was unable to reply to the previous on due to the age of thread.

for those thinking about doing this, you CAN NOT just weld over your EGR bung from stock, you need to do one of the following

1. Weld on a small Stainless Steel tube and run a high-heat flex line to your EGR valve
2. Weld on a bolt that threads to your EGR tube

Got my SS tube welded on for the EGR, but finding high-heat flex line has proved nearly impossible!! I've been to every part store in the area and nobody seems to know what I am talking about. Any ideas on where I can find this, my EGR is 5/8" OD

Re: EGR Fix??
Hey Nizmo, thanks for that link :shakeshout:
I continued my search to try to find local contacting parts stores, machine shops, hardware stores, plumbing and electrical suppliers, craft stores etc. and I can't believe how hard it is to find. Placed the order yesterday, so hope to see it by the weekend, depending on fitment I may just have the bung welded on.

Re: EGR Fix??
Got the tubing from seetemp and decided to see how well it would hold air and it really doesn't air leaks from all of the articulating points. So I am going w/ the welded bung, more of a pain in the ass, but I think better peace of mind.
