Default eBay Catback Exhaust

does anyone on here have that exhaust? i know me and dstruc have it. i know alot of people are always concerned with issues and want to know what good and whats not. well i have that exhaust and have had it for about 2 months now and it sounds great. i love that exhaust but ive noticed everytime i drive through cracks, bumps, train tracks, my exhaust has this loud squeaking sound. is this common? i know dstruc has the same issue. anyone else with the ebay catback has that same issue?

There are actually alot of members here including myself with the ebay exhaust. I've had it for about 11 months now and no problems yet. I know the hanger is held on from a rubber insert maybe thats where the squeaking is coming from.

Yeah, add some lubricant or replace the hanger inserts. I'm guessing you could loosen up the inserts a little and get something sprayed in there.

Craig, when you install it, just lubricate the rubber mounts before you put the hangers on, it should prevent any noises

I think most members have said that the sound is pretty much identical. Fitment should not be an issue; just straight bolt-on.

That's one of the best soundclips I've heard of the ebay catback. I would've definitely gone that direction had I not got the Nismo.

Is it possible to connect a different muffler to it? I like this one: http://thmotorsports.com/vibrant/vib...8/i-37099.aspx

Or does it have to be fabricated?

Of course, cut those mufflers off and weld the Vibrants.
