Default Altima & Maxima CAI Compatibility

I found an ad where a guy is selling his Nismo CAI from his 2005 Altima 2.5. I was just wondering if it would fit and work effectively in my 07 Max. Anybody have some knowledge on this?

It might work if it was from a 3.5 Altima. but where it is a the 2.5 4 cylinder, it wont work.

Ask him for pics from different angles. If its cheap enough it may be worth a few modifications. PEP Boys has a full assortment of Intake parts. This would a good opportunity to learn more about intakes. Just don't do like I did and fail to properly secure the filter because it will fall off and get ran over.

You could make that work. $150 is okay, $125 is better, $100 is totally worth the trouble. Look up some pics of a maxima nismo CAI. Here's one on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/GENUINE-NISM...-/271313752967
