Default 350z and G35 Exhaust Tone.

Whats up My6thgen so After installing the HFPC's last week now my car sounds like G35 or 350z. It sounds just like g35 and 350z not gonna lie. When I first install the racingline y+pipe I can hear it little bit rumble but with HFPC I can hear it clear and outside its loud enough for people to hear it too. Below is the video i made while driving in manual mode. I know its not possible but trust me it does sound like a g35 and 350z. It have the same rumble to it. I seem people mess with the exhaust try to get the g35 tone. But never seems anyone run the HFPC+ racinline Y-pipe and stock stock. I just wanted to try somthing different and here i have it. We all know that it's not possible and it's cheaper to just buy a g35 but what I have on my car I can't be happier than this.

Im not saying that people should go buy this setup its just my thoughts.

Exhaust mods= stock headers+ racingline HFPC+ Racingline Y-Pipe+ stock exhaust.

***if you guys put on headphone you will hear it clear it was recorded from my iphone. Tom i will try to get a video with my DSLR. ***

Probably gonna agree with Corey. Never really heard of an exhaust breaking in with such a dramatic difference. What exhaust mods to you have again?

stock headers+ racingline high flow cats+y pipe and stock exhaust. No hole or leakes. all gaskets were replaced last week when I installed the high flow cats. I even let the mufler shop take a look at it and no leaks or anything were there. if it was hole It sound totally different becuase I do have exhaust leak on my truck.

yes becuase when I had my cat back with racingline y-pipe installed it sounded different. Then I put my stock exhaust back on with the Racingline y-pipe and I can hear little g35 tone. That made me thinking so I went ahead and bought the HFPC and it made it sound like g35 only with stock exhaust not with any other aftermarket Exhuast.

This is pointless. I could care less what it sounds like inside the cabin. I wanna hear the exhaust from the outside. Because that's where it counts. And don't drive like a grandma.

well if you gun it you cant hear it the intake is louder then the exhaust. Like i said its just added the same tone the exhaust. Im not saying everyone who wants a g35 tone go by racing line HFPC and Y-pipe its just my review and felt like sharing.

Dude I have stock exhaust with racingline HFPC and ypipe too and the exhaust from the outside doesnt sound like a G35 or a 350Z. You need a video or people are going to rush and buy some cats and ypipe without any solid evidence. You're not the first person to claim their exhaust sounds like a G or a Z.

Guys I don't want anyone to start jump on these setup just because i said i sounds like a G or Z. To me it does and to everyone who listened to it said it does sound like the G or Z its not loud as the G or Z but around 2-3500 rpm it is loud enough for me. I know i might note be the first one but hey atleast i can share that what the family is about right. Again not everyone is the same it might not sound like G or Z to you But Im happy with this setup. Its loud enough for people to turn their heads around to see whats coming. I will make more video later in the day today.
