Default Who Can Diagnose My Problem

here we go. 2007 se cvt 55k. the car is pretty much shifting right into overdrive after about 3-5 minutes of running. so if i gently take off from a stop and quickly throw it into manual mode its already in 5th gear. i had a code come up for the air fuel ratio sensor i had the air fuel ratio sensor changed out. any ideas? if it wasn't an oem sensor would this still be causing the problem?

take it to the dealer to diagnose that. it'll be $90 UNLESS they find its a problem with the transmission. then it will be warranty work because the 07/08's have 120k mile warranty on the cvt.

I know the "manual" mode is pretty generous and will almost always throw it into a lower gear, but still, probably a good idea to let the dealer look at it like Nick said.

3 votes for the dealer on this one and if you know us, we always say stay away from the stealership but for the 07-08 its a necessary evil
