Please stop saying smh or smdh or any variation of that.

Buy new, better tires.

You should also probably stop launching like that before you demolish your tranny or get a bunch of tickets.

Better tires is probably your first start point. The next item you will look at is your suspension. While springs lower your car they also stiffen the suspension so as to not drop in the back as much during a launch. I would be careful of launching at that rpm as well. Try those things first and go form there.

Better gripping tires. While they are expensive... they will definetly help you grasp the road much quicker.

I'm surprised no one on the Altima forums suggested good tires. I paid $1000 for mine and it was well worth it. But I'm going to assume they already did and you hoped that there was some secret that you didn't know about.

Strange thread but I didn't know Altima's came with 16in wheels? Wheels size is probably your biggest issue.

Edit: Yep the SL came with 16in wheels. I'd switch that up first, go at least 18in. Be cool if you could grab some Altima SE-R rims with some decent rubber.

Well if your going to do this , you need some better sticky tires for that.

and when you do get better tires/traction and grip, and launching it the way you are,

prepare to have money aside for new axles/and a transmission.

Thank you guys for all of your very informative answers and once I save some more money for wheels, I will prob get 18's with some decent tires. I got the springs and install for $300. I hope that was a good deal. The springs where from my mechanic's Maxima when he had one and now I don't have any wheel gap . (blue springs) I don't know what brand
