Default Re: Vacuum hose

Most cars have numerous vacuum hoses/lines...I've never specifically looked at my Maxima, but I have to think it would be the same. There are typically vacuum lines that run off of the upper intake, the brake booster, the valve covers...etc....

What exactly are you trying to do?

Just make sure that you draw the seafoam into the vacuum hose just a little bit at a time so you don't stall the engine.

This picture should be enough. And as 1hawaii50 suggests, bits at a time to avoid stalling the engine. But in any case, if it stalls, don't panic. Turn car on again and proceed with caution again.

No Problem bro and good luck,

Ed.

You have seafoam in your crankcase now or you mean you just changed your oil 300mi ago and want to do seafoam treatment?

I thought you said you watched the Chernmax Seafoam video? You have to pay close attention when you try stuff like this.
Its recommended to change oil 100 miles or so, after doing the Seafoam treatment. The Seafoam thins your oil, so its a good idea to change your oil.

I jus changed my oil about 2 weeks ago. I put the seafoam in yesterday. My question is how long should I run the seafoam, through my engine? Before I do another oil change?

Default Re: Vacuum Hose

Sorry for hacking this thread, but my question is relevant to seafoam, if anyone can help.

If seafoam is used through vacuum hose and added in gas tank, but not poured in the engine compartment, then still engine oil need to be changed in 100miles?
Also can we add seafoam in gas, at every fill-up?
"Thanks"
