Default "Tornado" Fan Add-On??

The link below is to an ebay item of a knock off Turbanator, or vortec cyclone.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Perfo...item33655ef8f8

My question is what do people think of these? I installed and still have one in my 2003 Ford ExploDER, and had one in my 01 Max. In the Max it seemed to have a little more "pep" but no really MPG increase, the Ford didn't really seem to change so I have just left it in.

Do these work at all? Knock offs work just as good or worth it to pay for "the real thing"

Obviously I'm looking at wanting to do intake and exhaust to my new 05 max. Someone said the ebay catback for like 200 shipped is actually a decent setup and so I was trying to find an intake....

open to suggestions for what would work well with that exhaust. For the price just doesn't seem like I can go wrong?

I have an eBay intake in my car. So far it does the job. All intakes are the same pretty much, only thing you're paying for is the name. And you're not going to gain but maybe 5hp. My intake costs me $30.

I have to agree with you K-Ryder on this. Hell for 30 bucks, I'd try it. Atleast to get started with. I had a $30-40 on my impala...did the job. Buy it.
