Default Timing Chain Tensioner Tools... HELP!!!

Ok this one is for anyone that has successfully completed the dreaded Timing Chain Tensioner replacement...

I ordered all of my parts and Nissan specific tools and they were all supposed to arrive today. I got my parts... but no tools. Nissan Tech Mate never sent me any correspondence stating that the tools required are on backorder until FEBRUARY!!!! I am all set to complete this job this weekend and now I am at a standstill...

MY QUESTION IS: How vital are these tools to completing this job? Since I am not going to have them, are there other ways around using these tools?? Any suggestions???

Kent-moore does not have them either or I would have them overnighted to me... Techmate just raped me... and I feel VERY violated...

I NEED A SOLUTION!!!

Is there room in the opening for a c-clamp to hold the flywheel in place?

Yep... those are the tools. 50288 is the only one I am after as I am pretty sure I can get around the other. But neither are available and will not be available until FEBRUARY!

Theres got to be a way around these. What if I dont use it... would my timing get jacked up or anything?
