Having this weird issue, when im driving at constant throttle, i sometimes feel a dip like car slightly dies down and then gets back to normal cruising. Its like a split second dip, or lag so to say. Began happening recently, no codes, M/T, stock. Has anyone encountered such problem on a 6th gen? I did not do any TB cleaning, maybe a ECU reset?
Thanks. |

I got a spare one around, will update once i swap it out. Last edited by L36; 06-10-2012 at 06:31 PM. |

Might be your cam sensor going bad. Having the same problems now and based on post that I read it might be the cam sensors.

I had a car do that. It turned out to be a bad ignition coil. Turned out the valve cover was leaking oil inside the top of the sparkplug and it cover the ignition coil with oil. Ended up replacing all sparkplugs, one valve cover and gasket, bank1(under the intake) and the one bad coil. Make sure to replace the valve cover if you see oil on top of the spark plug. The seal is built inside the valve cover and you cannot just replace the seal
