Default Series Of Problems With The Z...Anyone Want To Help?

Sup guys so ive been having some issues with the Z, im guessing nothing major so i want to just ask here to get some answers.

1)Ever since i changed my rear abs sensor my speedo only reads half of the speed im actually going, so if im going 60 itll tell me im going 30, it was a brand new abs sensor and my abs light didnt even turn off when i replaced it. Thats when i noticed the speed being way off, i dont know if it was a faulty abs sensor or just a coincidence that it happened during the same time. I put back the old abs sensor and it still reads half of the speed, but before i had changed the abs sensor in the first place it always read the correct speed. So im wondering what it is?

2)When in neautral my car makes a weird screeching noise, clutch, flywheel and throwout bearing are not even a year old so idk what it could be, but it only does it sometimes but goes away when i engage the clutch...i read something about the throwout bearing going bad but i dont know if thats what it is.

3)I got a cel last night and i got the code p1283 which i googled and it seems to be the 02/af sensor? which one do i have to replace i believe theres two, and where are they located?

any help will be extremely appreciated, i like to fix the issues on my car as soon as they occur so want to get this done so i dont drive around like this

P1283 NISSAN - Air Fuel Ratio Sensor 1 Lean Shift Monitoring Bank 2

Possible causes
- Faulty Air fuel ratio (A/F) sensor 1 Bank 2
- Faulty Air fuel ratio (A/F) sensor 1 heater Bank 2
- Fuel pressure
- Faulty Fuel injector
- Intake air leaks
- Faulty Air Flow Meter

Holy hell, the P1283 has the same description as the P2A00 I've been fighting for 3 years....

Check for leaks in the headers, bad gaskets, leak after the MAF. I doubt your O2 is bad... I've swapped mine twice with no luck fixing the P2A00. How long have you had the headers in? Try the cheapest first, try cleaning the MAF. Make sure your header bolts are tightened (I've read about loose header bolts throwing codes). Best of luck, it's possible that you're in for world of hurt, hopefully not..

Then do the relearns. Anytime you change anything O2 related you are supposed to do relearns. Sometimes just doing that and resetting it will make it go away. I hear you there though, I'm about to trade my max for a 1989 Plymouth Horizon

I would think that a bad cat would throw the P0420 code instead. You can read what I have tried for the P2A00 code since its similar, not sure if it would help you or not. Since you just swapped out the headers, my guess would be a bad gasket, loose bolts, or the need for relearns. There's a possibility of faulty wiring, but that would only come into play if you had to extend the wires (or someone laid a wire on a hot part causing it to melt, but that would also misfire.)

If you try that stuff and it doesn't work, try hooking the car up to a scanner and watching the voltage of the O2 sensors. If you have 1 sensor being an oddball, then it could very well just be a bad sensor (doubt it). To test it, try switching B1 with B2 and see if the code stays with the bank, or with the sensor. If the code follows the sensor, then it's a bad sensor.

From what I have read about mine, it could also be a bad injector. Does it idle rough? Lack power? Try throwing some injector cleaner in there. Seafoam wouldn't hurt either.

P2A01 (ignore the title, I screwed it up and can't edit it. It should be P2A00)

hmmm im hoping its an o2 even if its doubtful i just dont want anymore problems with this POS, about the bad injector maybe...ive noticed very slight power loss and a rough idle

1. No idea, maybe cluster.
2. Throw out bearing..might be dry or on its way out...
3. Try cleaning the MAF Kenny. There is a tread about it somewhere here.

Yeah, cleaning and relearns should cure unless the A/F sensor/s got damaged when you removed headers.

BE CAREFUL with the MAF. If you touch that thing wrong it can break, it's like a snowflake... Don't touch the actual sensor, only the housing.
