Default RMT (Turbo)

Hello to all, yeah I'm a newb but not etc. Anyways I don't seem to see any of these setups on the 6th gen? Reason? Not trying to be a smart ass etc.. I've been on maximal.org and came across Streetzlegend Rmt setup. Is that not possible on are 6th gens? I've talked to Streetzlegend. Why is chernmax the only 6th gen turbo. We can do this Rmt setup fairly cheap, as long as you can do your own work as in me and my dude can.

RMT = rear mount turbo if im not mistaking

as far as chern's track times, last i heard was he ran 13.8 or 13.5 at like 103mph not launching, and that was on his setup low boost, and stock internals......

The best you will see in a 6thgen is 14.0 or so with FULL bolt ons. You can see much better times if you spray.

Im sure chern could run low 13s, high 12s if he knew how to launch his car.

not tru at all, maybe for the autos
i my self am in the 13s 1/4mile
ove on the org there are a few other 6th gens in the 13s and where all n/a

Alright guys , Ask YOURSELF this question ,

If you had $7Gs , invested into a turbo kit, minor internal work and ECU / Tune.

Would you go OUT on a track with your daily car and try to beat it down to get low 11s just to show that you can ?

Launching the car that could break your axles/tranny while doing so ? and towing the car home ?

Kevin went into the 12s, it can be easily down to 11s on boost...

YES!! I would. In my opinion anyone who spends 8 grand on a car and doesn't drive It to its full potential is a pansy. I'm not taking shots at anyone, I'm just stating my opinion. Waste of money. If I buy a 10 Thousand dollar grill you better believe I'm gonna grill up some fuckin HOT DOGS, not store it in my shed bc I'm afraid something might break.

As much as I love my 6thgen.... I don't think its platform was meant for a turbo. I mean you can... but you will spend lots of money building it and maintaining it. I went with nitrous and I love it. My car is very reliable and also quick enough when needed.

For forced induction....I got a 4thgen and supercharged it.

True, but was just saying 4-6 psi wouldn't hurt. And I could actually switch lanes how i want. Lol
Thinking of trading in for g35 or z. More efficient, and could turbo a rwd instead. I love my max but I need some boost...
