Default Rebuilding a 6th Gen

just bought another 6th gen, its an 04. It had front end damage. @ $900 i have a little room to move around lol.

Air bag deloyed, the steering wheel was worn so i bought another with the air bag and am in the process of rebuilding. as of right now no interior lights work, locks, windows and steering wheel controls arnt as well.

car start, idles and drives fine!

CEL is on and im getting

P0722 speed sensor circut fault
P1564 ASCD switch malfunction

im replacing the speen sensors tomorrow but im having trouble with the cruise control. and steering wheel controls.

help!

You really need to download a copy of the FSM. Airbags faults might or might not be able to be reset with generic high end scan tools (different manufacturers allow different abilities due to royalties paid) Often times once repaired general shops send vehicles to the dealer to clear Air Bag modules.

Also due to Airbag/cruise control system involving personal safety I can not offer you diagnositic advise as im a licenced technician. These things should be left to the proffesionals IMO. This doesnt mean a backyard mechanic cant tackle them but giving advise over the internet of a vehicle that I havent personally seen that has been involved in an accident is another.
