Default Pulley Replacement!

Looking on some information in regards to replacing my pulley's, should i do it myself or have a mechanic do it?

not exactly sure, i had my transmission worked on and my mechanic recommended i had my pulley's replaced, not quiet sure if he meant all pulley's but i am at 120,000+ miles on my 04max.

I have however noticed i get a high/low pitch sound coming from my engine by the passenger side, when going from 1st to 2nd gear.

I would have to think he's talking about your idler pulley. That one shouldn't be too difficult to do yourself.
