Default P0300 Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Code

I just got a P0300 multiple/random cylinder misfire code on my 2008 Maxima SE and whenever I drive I can feel the cylinders misfiring very obviously. The RPM jumps between 650-800 RPM when I am idling and I can feel it in the engine. What can I do to fix this?

Default Re: P0300 Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Code

Air fuel sensors usually only generate a P0300 DTC without being specific to any cylinder. Use the search to look up more info on this, there's a couple of people who already made threads.

Thank you, but I forgot to mention that the CEL never came on. The code popped up under the pending section on my OBDII software .

If the driveablilty issues continue then look into the A/F sensors. You wont get a DTC for the sensors because they're working but giving a false reading.
