Default Overheating With AC On

I have a 6th gen maxima 08 and lately when I pull up to a light with the AC on the temperature gauge goes straight to the top. When I turn the AC off, the temperature immediately goes back to the normal range with no hesitation. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Mike

The reason it might not is because it get all the heat from the radiator so it heats up the freon instead of cooling it.. It's happened people want their a/c done telling me their compressor need to be replaced and it's just their fans not running.. Just wondering
