Default New Engine Mount

Well, thanks to my friend Mr Dolla. I got a brand new front engine mount. Just had it installed. What a difference it made. The transmisson jerk is gone. Felt like something under the hood was moving. Then, I found out the engine would move and cause hard shifting. Smooth like butter.

This site rocks and you guys have been a great help to me and my car.

Picture shows the broken mount. Its hard to see but there is a fine crack where the arrows point

Yeap. It's like a wear/tear problem. I had to replace mines at like 80K. The "engine jerk" gets so bad that you think its your transmission.

Once one cracks... it weakens the others due to more strain. Many people just replace them all upon visual inspection.
