Default Lower Engine Cover

I found the plastic piece hanging on by the 5 front screws, I don't know what happen to the back screws. Do I need to put the plastic piece back on to protect underneath the engine and if so, do I need to put it back on ASAP or can it wait? Or can I live without it? Here's a picture of the plastic piece I'm talking about:

Easy. Get some clips off autozone, dealer or a junkyard its there to prevent debris from entering your engine bay and that includes water.

I lost the front clips and only had three of the back clips when this last happened to me. I checked the autozone near me and they didnt have them. So i ended up tucking the front end into the bumper and it hasnt moved since. Might be an option if you cant find replacements. If autozone doesnt have them, check out Lowes. Last time i checked, they had a good selection of automotive specialty fasteners.

Yea, I was on 93 South going to Boston, heard some weird ass noise, and I thought it was a flat, I pulled over all the tires were fine, but see the lower engine cover barely hanging on. So I just took it off and threw it in the trunk. But thanks for the advice guys. Hopefully the weather will be tomorrow.
