That will not reset it. You will need to connect it back up and roll it back; opposite of how you advanced it.

a Nissan Consult II cost about $800 for a used one, and a bullydog cost around $300.

your going to need to find someone local with it or back to Nissan and see if the mechanics want to make extra side money to retard the timming back stock

normally we do one of two things,

easiest would be to use a thick heater hose and stick one end near the header flange, or where any of the flanges meet with the other end to your ear, you will hear the tone change drasticaly.

the other way is not the best , but a water bottle and spray around the flanges, any exhuast leak you will see where you spray have resisitant.

you have both headers , the y pipe to check.

thats when we build exhuast , we try to to build with least flanges as it will leak overtime.

Where exactly in MA are you? I could've sworn I remember someone being able to do it in that relative area.

not sure if this matters or not...but after my +2 degree timing advance was done, I was adviced to only use premium or 93oct gas on my car cause if I used 89oct or 87oct the timing would automatically go back to stock settings

it wouldnt go back to stock settings, but it would cause detonation in the engine and kill your spark plugs quicker.
