Default Engine Cylinders Misfiring

Hey guys, I have a 2008 Maxima SE and recently it feels like the cylinders are misfiring at low RPM's. If I'm driving at about 25-35 mph at a constant speed with my RPM below 1.25k, it starts chugging and the whole car shakes as if im pumping the brakes and it feels like the cylinders are all misfiring. I got a CEL last week and took it into the shop where they changed the engine temp sensor and that fixed the problem perfectly for about a week, but as of yesterday the engine is starting to do the same chugging it did before. Does anybody have any suggestions to what could be wrong?

No, the CEL went off when I got the temperature sensor replaced. The mechanics said it might be my spark plugs or it may just need a fuel system cleaning.

I would start with plugs but before you do I have a few questions....
What's the mileage? Have you had any upgrades/modifications? intake spacers,CAI. Anyone worked under the hood poor to you experiencing problems?
I'm assuming you/your mechanic disconnected the throttle body in order to change the Temp sensor....
Was it having same symptoms prior to temp sensor Replacement.

It has exactly 102,500 miles on it. There are no upgrades at all on it and I do not know if the mechanic unplugged the throttle body to change the temp sensor. The car did have the sane problem before the temp was replaced though.

Plugs. You are over the maintenance schedule. I would guess that will fix it. if you mechanic does replace spark plugs and disconnect throttle body the necessary resets must be performed.

What kind of resets would need to be done? And about how much would plugs run me with the cost of installing them?

Also, I forgot to mention that the RPM just around a ton when the car is idling and even sometimes when I'm driving. Would faulty spark plugs cause that as well?

Throttle position resets as well as idle air reset. Using the search button
will give you detailed info about this common question. Don't know the cost as it varies for different shops and different states.

Dont know what a "ton" is but faulty/spark plugs have been known to throw a whole different array of drivability as well as idling symptoms, so in essence, yes.

My car would NOT accelerate over 2000rpm, and the ABS would actuate every time I stepped on the brakes ...is this what is happening?

At 2000rpm, the engine would just sputter/stutter and refuse to make any power...problem was faulty rear ABS sensor.

Does the fact that it only feels like its misfiring when it's at low RPM's (around 1100) change anything?

It might just be that you feel it at low RPMs and at higher RPMs the frequency is too high to notice it.
