Goodyear gatorback belts: 4060420 is for the alt/ac 4040305 is for the power steering.

ive been experiencing the same problem only when it rains alot even after spending $200 at nissan to replace them both i start my car and its squeals so loud and its annoying im not much of a hands on guy myself but what do i do
 suggestions plz!!

Never go to nissan,go to a reliable mechanic....my guess needs to lubed or broke in

I just got back under the car and tightened the belt just a little more...haven't squealed in a while now.

Old thread, I know. But was just wondering if some of these belts squeal because they were not tightened well enough after intial install. Just found this video that MIGHT be helpful to some future people. Well, I am at 119K now and about to do my belts again when I hit 120K. I did them last at 60K, just as normal maintenance, not like I absolutely neede to do them. I have never had any squealing. Bought my last belts at O'Reily. Will be buying my new belts at advance auto parts. Belts made by Dayco.
