Unhappy Conditioning Not Cold

I need sone insight.. my air conditionder is blowing but the air is nowhere near as cold as it should be. I checked the pressure of the 134a and it is not low.. do you guys think i am looking at a problem with my condensor? What else could it be? its too warm to rock out with the windows all of the time.

Any useful advice is appreciated!! Thx!!

Could be condensor or cracked line. On mines it was a cracked line causing a leak.

Just because you have pressure, doesn't mean you have enough freon. It's good that you have pressure, means it's not leaking, go refill it dude.

He said he checked the pressure in the lines and it's fine, that means he's not leaking.

Just a tip. Using those autozone cans of r-134 dont give you the best working a/c.

For the a/c system to work right, you have to vacuum the entire system for atleast 10 minutes, if not more. Then you need to add the proper refrigerant oil and the right amount of r-134a gas.

If you look under your hood there is a label that tells you how much refrigerant is required down to the exact ounces. Filling it from a can will never be accurate, and you will be adding the refrigerant to any existing moisture, air and or contaminants already in the system.

Unless any of you guys have a a/c recharging machines i would recommend taking it to a shop to have it charged properly. You will notice a huge difference compared to just adding "cans of freon".

btw. i do have this machine at my shop!! lolz
