Default Broken Sensor......Need Help To Find Out The Name To Replace It

I have a broken sensor. It has a green connector ......located front side of the car top left in front of The radiator cap and to the rt of the water pump.......just beneath oil fill cap.......any suggestions........is has some oil around it and looks like a little cam shaft

I found one on eBay......seller says vq35de but lists it for g35 and 350z..........is it still compatible with the 6th gen maxima

I suggest you do this ,

disconnected the negative side of the battery off.

disconnected the green plug,

(3) 10mm bolts and the solenoid off, ( WARNING ) there is a metal black gasket that will come off when you take this off.

higher mileage engine may need to replace this gasket , FSM states that all gasket change but I have re-used mines before. It is a metal one and not a paper.

it seals the oil gallery , so you may NOT want to take that chances of re-using it.
