Default Any Insight On Tuning Apexi Neo

I just installed this the other day with AEM UGEO. I have Nismo catback, NWP spacers, Nismo CAI, Cory's BOP, custom grounding kit and will be installing my headers as soon as I can. Reading the instructions tells you nothing as far as tuning. Anybody have fuel maps for similar setup? I plan on doing a dyno tune after the header install, but I really want to try this thing. Does anyone know if the UGEO can be wired into the Neo to provide the AFR? Anybody with SAFC have steps to tuning? Throttle settings? Place to find this info? Around town I'm running in mid 15's (is this safe?), when I get on it up to say 5k I get into the 12-13 range. Would a sticky of list of mods and SAFC settings be helpful to the community?

I would not try to wire up your Wideband with the SAFC , I have no experenice with any of the Apexi piggybacks, Ramberg and Eddymax comes to my mind as far as the OGs that have installed them.

I also would wait til the headers are on and then go to the dyno and tune it.

No you can't do that. The NEO doesn't give you an AFR reading. It allows you to adjust it. You get the reading from AEM Wideband which has an 02 port that welds into your y-pipe. AEM gives you the reading and the SAFC allows you to tune it accordingly.

I would look into doing an UpRev tune. That's the route that I'm headed. They can do multiple maps and work nicely on VQ35's. I think its the best option out since TechnoSquare.

I currently have an Apexi SAFC2. It street-tuned on an N/A map. Its easy to adjust. Just add or remove fuel based on your Wideband readings.

And also... I would get the SAFC2 vs the NEO.

I have the AEM hooked up separately, was just wondering about the output wire. I tried to richen it up a little and car went into limp mode, so I reset the ECM and put all the parameters in neo back to 0. I haven't yet set the hi throttle/lo throttle, have no idea what they should be? Any idea where to start? then I can just adjust +/- 1% at a time. should I be shooting for 12-13 range?

cant find a pod big enough for this to fit in so I just double side taped to dash

Did you have to drill a new hole for the wideband wire? I poked around my engine bay a little and didn't see an existing spot big enough to run the wire through.

I opted out of the sunglass holder because I actually use that thing all of the time :P

Just another Brand. Most of us have the AEM Wideband to give us the reading.

I'm looking at the software that is sold without the o2 that comes with a cable to connect to your laptop and gives us dataloging capabilities for $159, have the aem just think this could correlate with rpm, throttle at different points in time and show trends that would be more useful and easier to tune than standalone a/f reading

I think it's 30-4100 thats what's on the bottom of the box, you need to install at least 18" downstream
