Default Best Way to End a Weekend (Sunday 10 p.m)

This is how my weekend ended. @ 10 P.M. I should had just went to sleep. Sucks.

I need recommendationgs guys!

Should i get a new bumper? Or a body shop can pop it out and repaint the whole bumper? If i need a new bumper, where can buy for a decent price. Any good body shops around the NYC area that does a perfect job? MAIN QUESTION: How much this will cost me?

Everyone talks about citifield. Is their service good?

************************************************** ******************
UPDATE: So i went to several locations to get a quote on this. Out of the 4 places i went, only one recommended me to change the whole bumper. The plastic thing they put to smooth the surface can get crack in the future if i get hit again. Also, the tail pipe heat can make it crack in the future. Need your Advice !!!!

You can pop that out yourself with a careful application od heat from a heat gun and popping it from the back. Any shop can easily pop that into shape. It doesn't look that bad.

I'm letting the shop do the job. i don't want to make it worst.

If they charge me alot to pop it out, i do it myself. I just hope there's a write up on how to do it. lol

This same shit happened to me last night. Damn this sucks and it's just an F'n eyesore.

What was the compound they were rubbing on during the first step?

This happened in the right rear, same as OP. Can I move the liner and do it with the bumper still attached? Just wondering if it's easier or better to remove the bumper.

They were using soap or rubbing alcohol in order to remove the yellow marks left from the object they struck with the bumper.

Ideally, it would probably be better to remove the bumper. It might be hard to reach the indented area depending on its location because as you said, the bumper support might be in the way. If you remove the bumper, you can get it 100% into its original shape in most cases.

Kool.

I'll get some materials in order and probably do it in the next few days. I've got an industrial heat gun so getting enough heat on there shouldn't be a problem. I'll make sure to take it slow as to not OVER heat it. I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks dude!
