Default Smittybizzle Project Build

Ok so here is my build I should have started last year but better late than never . I got the car in Oct 2008 with 25k on it , I traded in my old car that had tranny problems . I never thought about modding the car until Dec of last year . My wife wrecked the car and ever since then I have been on this site looking to bring my Maxima back from the dead . The first picture is the car after I got the tint 35% . The others hurt for me to even show but hey its a build and she is still in progress . So here are the pictures .

After the wreck I had to get a bunch of parts , oh yeah I had just dropped my full coverage don't ever do that . First on the list was a bumper $50 craigslist , radiator support $293 , and a headlight $ 70 ebay . Also my front tire went flat b/c what she hit was a guard rail . I did get a super deal on two tires though with 9 32nds for $65 . One more thing guys I fixed the car myself I was even able to drive the car home with the spare tire after the wreck .

Ok more parts , the windshield was toast b/c she or I didnt have our seat belts on . I had to get a fender free ebay they made an error, fender liner $30 non OEM , hood steel $183 ebay . I did all of this work in Orlando in Dec it sucked b/c I had to garage but oh well I got it done . I didnt want all the cheap replacement parts but I had to get the car up a running b/c my wife had to work . To me the hood was the worst b/c that was the last thing replaced .

Ok my fist mod was backwards now that I think about it . After getting the hood I got some extra money in Feb so I got a pioneer AVIC 900BT . I moved from Orlando to Winston Salem at the end of Feb so I didnt get anything new until March . I saw a lot of people here had HIDs so I pulled the trigger on some from ebay . Oh I got a box for my Pioneer 12s 400 watts rms, took forever b/c I had the subs since 09 lol .

I got my AEM intake a couple weeks ago and man what a difference . The car looks so much better without the sock air box . The install was easy and I also have the Coryxavier BOP and as of Sat I installed a FSTB. The handling improved but it will be better once I get my Tein springs and RSB , the front wheel gap has to go.

Got my AVIC back on Fri , in May it took a s**t on me so I took it out the car and waited until I had the extra cash to get it fixed . I also painted some of my interior trim , first I went with silver and it came out great I even cleared it . Them like a dummy I wanted to paint it black , I let it dry and in the morning I woke up to fish eyes like no other . So I painted it back silver and it came out okay but not perfect . I will repaint them next weekend b/c I want the paint to dry fully before I wet sand and fix the imperfections . You can see them a little in the picture with the AVIC installed , the ones on the table were near perfect . The others are bad . Now pics .

Thanks Raz76 for the ebay link on the bumper . I know I still have a bunch to do but I have been looking for wheels and finding a good cheap set is hard . What off set should I get b/c I want the wheels to be flush or more out than the stock wheels . I will be getting more stuff done when the cash comes but its hard in these streets lol . I got out of the Navy in 09 thinking I knew it but news flash I dont so now I have to work my way back in .
