Default Scrui's 2005 Maxima Partial Rebuild After Accident

I had an accident back in June 2010. Happened during traffic jam on the Belt Parkway right by JFK Airport. 80 yr old man in an Altima rammed me right in the rear and dragged my car right to the car in front of me. 3 car accident. (no pics, I was shaking). Insurance company totalled my car but told me I could keep the car. I took the check and bought another 2005 Maxima. I was opened minded for a different color but at the end I bought Red again. ( my favorite color).
Here's pics at the body shop befeore I took it home.
The signature car is the new one.

A few weeks after the accident, I started to fix the front end. The hit did not damage the engine. I replaced both fenders, head lights, radiator support assembly, radiator, condenser, bumper, grill, and some plastics. The black hood you see was returned because of front damage.

The car sat like that all winter. Then in August i decided to work on it a little more. I had the front fenders and bumper painted. Besides the hood the front end is finished and I need the back fixed.

Wow! That is sad to see the car in that condition. Looks like it's coming out nicely!

How many pieces to the bumper support? I see you had to replace that as well.

I didn't have to replace the bumper support. The damage was on top.

My next step is to find a reputable Body Shop to fix the back and that will not take me to the cleaners. I've been to a couple of shops around the neighborhood asking the manager to come to my house and give me an estimate, no shows yet.
