Default Sandwichmixto's Metro Vancouver 6thgen Rep

Howdy Y'all
Welcome to my build / project thread. Not too much background, shopping for my first car and came across this beaut' sittin lonely at an Acura dealer and I knew then and there, it was love at first site.

Username: Sandwichmixto
Year: 2004
Trim: SE
Purchase Date: March 2013
Purchase Km: 83,000
Current Km: 93,000

The previous owners installed SE-R wheels as well as a recently discovered Nismo Exhaust that the Acura dealership (thankfully) never noticed. No accidents, regular maintenance. Lightly used.

I recently also purchased some Canuck Altima Lowering Springs, 15mm spacers, hub rings and lug nuts that I haven't had the time to install.

Right now I'm at about 89,000km

I was just noticing the taillights myself. Those are the IPCW/EZkoncepts LED taillights. And yes, a 6.5 (2007-2008) rear bumper as well. The previous owner has done some work! Post a pic of your engine bay, they might have done some stuff in there as well.

Looks like you are off to great Modding. Once those Canucks are in, it will transform your max to even more enjoyable ride IMHO.

Thanks! I'm just waiting on some spring clamps from a buddy so I can do it myself. I've wanted to eliminate that wheel gap for too long!

Wow this is a surprise! The car only had one previous owner, the salesmen said they were a conservative asian couple in their fifties who prefered to fly rather than drive- maybe it was all just a marketing scheme haha

18" is too small for me personally, though I'll have them back on my ride soon enough as winter rolls around. Although they are rather nice to have.

The paper that came from the dealership only outlined the possibility of the wheels being from another car so I wouldn't know haha

Update time FINALLY

Here's the end product and I couldn't be happier.

Click the image to open in full size.

@Williamc141 you were definitely right about it being a bigger drop hahaha

I saw somebody else on this forum post about putting the altima springs in the front (and not back) to kind of balance out the two which worked really well, so that was my original intention. Once I was at the shop I decided "meh, why not" and put the back ones in too. Loving the looks and improvement in handling, fully content to say the least.

I believe I also have Stillen skirts? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Soon enough I'll have my 18" SE-Rs back on for winter. I'm looking to upgrade to an aggressive setup in spring so I'll be replacing the rear springs with stock and adding new wider wheels.
