Ok so im sure many of you might have seen some posts on FB about my upcoming plans, well there has been a major change. It was going to be too much work after i looked into it, about getting custom parts, shipping stuff in an out and what not, if i had more time and had a way of getting close in with a machine shop it would work but i dont ha....

but not to be out done ill let my pictures do the talking for now and i hope you all stay tuned for this ride.......

just finished painting the custom dash gauge pod, and now im running all the gauges!

i had some slight issues running the oil pressure sensor, but with the the help of ( nizmo, and my buddy tom) i got that issue resolved and out of the way.

Next is having a the o2 bung for the wideband welded into the the exhaust pipe right at the catback back portion and then running all the wires back up through the firewall.....

All wires im running through the firewall on the passenger side, same as i ran my system power wire ( this is due to the transmisson, might not have this problem on autos) then back across the to the middle console and up the the middle to the gauge pod....

pictures of these parts will be up as soon as i get top upload them..

How'd you drop the compression of the VQ?? Or you didn't even bother to?
Also, do you have a routing diagram of the exhaust manifolds to turbo?

nah i didnt drop compression, and where still fabing the manifolds, its alittle new to me becuz i never turboed a 6cyl so you basically have to to do where the two meet ...which is a atight spot.....

i been busy at work, working over time so i havent had time to work on her lately, later this week ima be back in to her since my buddy comes back from vacation from work....

alright sorry i been mia for awhile, my computer harddrive blew up ( i think it was due to all the porn ) haha just kidding so yeah i didnt have time to get one lately

i just got it back and jumped right one here yesterday

So all the gauges and the pod are ran and just need to be hooked up
i went and got the Wideband air fuel connected had them drill into the catback for the bung and ran it from there.

i orderd a set of ebay headers which im going to use to mount the turbo too. gonna also be easier to wrap them with the car off.

i gotta a buddy of mine doing the down pipe from me so thats taking care of.

when the headers get here ill do my best to get pics before i send them to my buddies shop to get worked on.

UPDATING 1/13/12...

ARRIVING THIS WEEK....

Racingline Black strut bar
Progress springs ( painting Tein Green)
KYB Struts
255 walbro pump
440cc RC injectors

pics will be posted as the arrive one by one...

as updates on the set up, we have decide to go with a simliar 4cyl set up, mounting the turbo to the front header and then making a custom crosspipe to connect to rear header.

still trying to decide which way i wanna run the intercooler piping.

1. same side intercooler, for those not knowing what it is, ( in let & out let are on one side of the intercooler making the overall piping lest congested and shorter.)

2. run traditional front mount and run piping under the rad fans to the turbo ( Ill have to get thinning raiditor fans as well)

3. run the same front mount intercooler, and run the piping across the top of the raiditor and swoop it into the intake manifold.

BELOW IS A FEW PICS OF WHAT IS IN THE WORKS
Attached Images

File Type: jpg TOP MOUNT INTERCOOLER.jpg (69.9 KB, 44 views)
