Default Mackzima's Black 2008 SE

Hi folks!

Spring is here, time to get busy!

Got my Maxima this winter, and after 3 months of snow (Newfoundland, Eastern Canada), finally it's time to start modding.

Started by Plastidipping my wheels, grill, and chrome roof strips. Love the black on black look. If I get tired of it, I'll just peel it off!

Actually SV, they`re Imego. They`re a Canadian company. I may be the first on the org to try them

Here`s the pads. Note the `Made in Canada` in the corner.

My baby is in the shop today. I jumped on a local forum to poll the gear-heads in my city on which would be the best shop to take it to. I'm banking on their advise!

When work is done for the day I'll be riding on my summer wheels/tires, teins, new shocks/struts and brake kit. Oh and progress rear sway bar....

This is gonna be a looong day at work.

K. After a couple of back and forths with my shop, the mods are done.

I had to bring it back because they installed my RSB upside down/backwards. Duh..

Anyway, all is good now! Pics coming tonight.

Very impressed with the brake kit! They look HAWT behind black wheels. I'll keep you guys (particularly those North of the border) updated on how the IMEGO products perform over time.

Just took a 30 minute "medical" break from work. Had to go for a drive!

With the Teins/Monroe and RSB it handles like a completely new car! A MUCH better car haha. Not too stiff or bumpy over the road chunder, but VERY responsive in corners.

Next to go are the endlinks. I'll get those from racingline.

Got new MOOG rear endlinks this week. Attempted to replace them myself but the stock ones are seized on like a muthatrucker.
Taking it to a shop to get them torched/cut off and replaced.

Also, I replaced my license plate lights. Easy mod. They're now red LED and its looks awesome at night! (Pics forthcoming).

Debadged the rear "Maxima" and "3.5 SE" and blacked out the burger. Oh and I re-blacked the plastic around the fog lights, just to make sure it matched the blacked out grill. Now they look really sharp!

Thanks again guys for all the tips and How-tos!

Back from the shop! The new moog links are riding nice! Maybe it's psychological but cornering feels tighter and the response is immediate.

Installed my Ichiba Spacers a couple weeks ago! Got an alignment first thing the next morning...all was well.

Installed a new battery today too! Updated my grounding while I did it.

-New 4 gauge from negative terminal to chassis with new lug
-4 gauge from chassis to trans bolt (couldnt get to this bolt during earlier racingline install. Much easier when the battery tray is pulled)

Basicly, replacing this whole pile of stock stuff:
