Default A.Cordeiro's Build thread (Slow And Steady)

We'll since I am buying parts and the car is coming along slowly but just right, I figured I would make a thread.

Car is a 2007 Nissan Maxima SE 3.5
Onyx Black

I will update the thread as time goes by and the parts flow in.

I should have a new item weekly, so I will try and update it as I go. Please be patient with what I have, the car is only 2 weeks old (to me lol) and I just started to look & buy parts for it. Again, I will post once I get the parts in, and can/will make DIY for those who are interested.

Big Thanks :

KCMAXX for making some beautiful RSTB's !
Paul Ferreira @ Ferreira's Auto Services (New Bedford,Ma) for HIDs
Dayle97SE (maxima forums) for the B.N.I.B Intake
sicivic89 (maxima forums) for the battery tie down

Interior :

KCMAXX Custom RSTB

Exterior :

8k HIDs and 3k Yellow fog HIDs

Engine :

No problem. I was just wondering if you had seen or heard about them. I think they are exceptionally nice. I have a set, but have not found time to install them. I think they look very clean and factory.

I know exactly how you feel. I am "neurotic" about my Machine as are a lot of other members LOL

I can not stand anything to not work or malfunction. I absolutely hate burned out dash lights.

And as long as we are talking about my neurosis, my Machine has to be spotless inside and out before I can drive it.

I had just detailed the Machine a few weeks ago and had to stop by mechanic for an emission inspection. The regular guys know me and how picky I am. That day there was a new guy and the first thing he did was put his greasy hands on my pillar posts and steering wheel, and I let him have it. I told him I just spent a lot of money having the car detailed and I did not appreciate his greasy hands all over my car.
As soon as I left, I had to have the Machine re washed.

nice list and have fun modding bro. it will be a pain at times but the days were it really puts a smile on ur face out-weighs the bad days easily.

also i wouldn't recommend wasting money on the JET MAF sensor. i never seen any1 who actually noticed a improvement from it on this site or any other car forum. and as for the GReddy exhaust ebay has the same one for less then 200 if it interests u....

as stated above i would hit up hawaii for the grounding kit or make 1 yourself.

stillen tower bars have been know for rubbing under the hood so Racingline would in my opinion be better( i have 1 installed )

and from what ive read and talked to a few members is that the jet MAF sensor does little to nothing for the money.

the greedy exhaust is the same as the $200 shipped ebay exhaust which i belive is about $400 buck cheaper i think

overall nice list but look deeper at it so you dont waste your money when the same things can be obtain cheaper

Really ? I guess I will put it aside for a final item, and maybe get a dyno run in 1st then install it and see what happens

And I looked for the GReddy exhaust and they all came back as rear section exhaust only. I will have to do further investigation before I start dropping money lol

Will do..Reason for this thread isn't just for build but to get help from you and everyone else who has contributed so far

Appreciate all the input and I will look into the racingline bar instead. I will just order the bar and traction bars at the same time

I agree. I've had that issue twice already. Even though my current Racingline ones have held up nicely... it was rough with the first two sets breaking.

* STILLEN Grounding Kit (HELL NO... Get one from 1hawaii)

guess i'll take it off the list lol

* GReddy SE Spectrum Elite Catback Exhaust ($$$$ but nice might want to consider eBay for a fraction of the cost)

will deffinetly use ebay for these ! Just couldn't find them before so went with my 1st finding

* +2 Degree Timing Advancement (Good)

* Progress anti-roll bar (EXCELLENT)

* HIDs (Good)
