Default Tightening up the suspension

Any idea how to tighten up the suspension a little bit? whenever I go over bumps, it clunks a little bit. no vibration on the highways, shocks are pretty new both fronts and rears, new rotors and pads all around. What other stuff is recommended for tightening up the suspension? I have a 97 k on my 05 maxima 5 sp auto. I'm also changing tranny fluid about every 30 k miles to make this tranny last, given the known issues. You guys think this is overkill or not? I also have 18 inch se rims with fairly skinny tires that come with that size, im not sure if that adds to feeling the bumps more. Also on a side topic- what the hell is this weird front driver side hood/ dash rattle from? it's driving me nuts, happens only at idle.

I'm not sure of the dash rattle I have it too. Try swapping out the front and rear sway bar end links. Also when you got new struts did you replace the top mount? I'm in the same boat, just saving for coils right now. I do the same thing with my tranny, I think it is overkill but it's needed with these cars.
