So what has your subwoofer broken on your car? This is all that it has broken in the three or four years that is has been back there.

Earlier this year the speaker on my radar detector became intermittent but i could tap on it and it would work for a little while. Now the speaker no longer works. Today i am out wasting gas and i hear this awefull rattling and it was not the radar detector bouncing on the windshield. I trace the sound to the overhead console where the lights are. One of the clips broke during the song 5oclock in the morning.

I can probably fix the clip with some jb weld plastic next weekend. The radar detector i will have to take apart and likely fix a bad solder joint in the audio circuit.

Same with the overhead thing and It did make both my license plate lights go out repeatedly... oh and it makes the CD player skip...

I had a pretty loud Trex set up in my old Nissan Altima SER ,


I had

3 -15's Highfonics Brutus
Powered by 3-1000watt amps and a Pioneer nav unit .

It banged so hard it made the pressure clams that holds the trunk linning snap right off and it fell apart , and made the trunk hinges and bolts loosen . Made the brake light unplug. Also made my over dome light covers open up and fall.

Ugh.... I was sitting in traffic and the ENTIRE overhead console shattered... all of the plastic in the sunglasses compartment just shattered.... ugh

in my 08 max se. my subs have broken the sunglass holder and doing a number on my sunroof buttons.. when i have my sunroof propped up it'll automatically come down to closed when it feels the boom! haha. other than that i've been fortunate enough to only have a couple of rattles in my overhead light console that seem to go away with a light tap from my finger or sometimes my fist!

I has not gotten my sunglass holder yet but i noticed last night that the piece where the dome light switch is, now moves when i turn a single map light on. Time to get the epoxy back out.

My bass just broke my passenger side mirror. First noticed that it was pointing to the floor while I was driving, try moving it with the switch and nothing. When I parked I tried adjusting manually and it came off completely.

Sounds like the clips up top broke. I actually broke the top clips on both my mirrors when i took them off to put the LED's on. I tell myself that if they ever try to fall off, I'm going to try and secure them back on with velcro until i get replacements.

I now have broken both my windshield and rear glass, 1 front door glass. Rear deck is cracked in half and my trunk has fell off once. I also have to tighten my lug nuts everyday. Starting to think I may need to remove my system before my car is put out of commission.

Damn it man. Have you ever though about it being too much? I think the 13w7 i have is a bit excessive and have thought about putting two 10's in the rear deck. Even if it meant building a sealed enclosure to house them.
